We only stayed one night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a good size. You can walk easily to the Guggenheim, Casco Viejo, Museo de Bellas Artes, trainstation ec. Bilbao is not very big. From the Airport bus stop it was a 10min walk. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. Near the hotel are various places like Cafe Iruna to have pinchos and montaditos.

Nice hotel, perfectly located close to Guggenheim Museum and Zubizuri Bridge in the middle of amazing pieces of architecture. I had a spacious room with comfortable bed, tea making facility with a variety of blends for free and very nice cosmetics set. The staff was very helpful.

Spent 3 nights here. Privilege rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is great - close to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to old town. San Vincente church is next door. Staff were very helpful.

Good sized room with ample space - modern furnishings, plus tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom design a bit of a let down - twin shower head which sprays water all over the floor to lack of shower door - consequently bathmat becomes a sponge to soak up excess water. Toilet also badly positioned behind door awkward to use.
Friendly helpful staff and bar was OK to have a drink in before venturing out to town and restaurants.

Room Tip: upper floor room

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for taking the time to post about our Mercure Bilbao and your stay with us. We're glad that overall your stay was enjoyable and more than anything that you found our people friendly and helpful
We're sorry to hear that the shower didn't work-out for you. I must say that I stay often in the bedrooms and use it myself. Having long hair I never get the issue you've had whilst washing my long hair. Maybe the big shower head was tilted towards the end of the shower, and not really in a downward direction? Anyhow, let me know next time you're coming and we can have a look.
Kind regards,
Isabelle Gorgue.

This hotel is really nice the staff are very friendly and regonise you after meeting you just once. We were here two nights. Friday and Saturday. .Saturday was very noisy as there are 2 night clubs opposite the side of the building. The Spanish party hard and late. That said during the week I'm sure would be quieter. The rooms are large and light with good sized bathrooms. Underground secure parking is also here. Gordon

Dear Gordon,
We thank you for taking the time to write this overall positive review, and share with us the unfortunate faith of those staying in Spain: you're right, the Spanish are a bunch of happy drunk people :) I must admit, me not being Spanish, I do love them for that!
Please do not hesitate to ask for a room looking inside instead of the street view for your next stay with us. We'll be happy to accommodate you.
Best regards,
Isabelle Gorgue
