Just an overnight stay. Lovely place very well kept BUT be very careful of its location. Our TomTom took us to completely the wrong place. Fortunately google maps found it on my phone or we would never have got there. The owner seemed to think this was a common problem. HOWEVER once you are there all is well. No evening meal but a slightly strange restaurant within walking distance (don' think they get a lot of non Spanish speakers there) but they were kind and helpful.

A little bit outside Gijon, with good views of Gijon and the countryside. Nice rooms, discrete and nice decoration, charming owners that treat you as part of the family. We've been there with 2 small babies and everything has been easy. Very clean. If you try not to have breakfast in the hotel, there is no offer outside the hotel unless you go back to Gijon which is 10-15 min away. The breakfast at the hotel is nice and I recommend it.

Very sweet hotel in countryside outside Gijon. Bit tricky to navigate to.
Nice owners, no English. Well appointed rooms, lovely big bath. Single beds beside each other.
Continental breakfast good but €11 each.

The hotel was a beautiful villa style hotel about 30 minutes out of Gijon... The manager and staff were friendly and broken English got us through... The hotel dos breakfast but not dinner so a drive into town was necessary .... Having said that it is very preaceful and a great place to stay.... Certainly offstage beaten track and a little unusual... Try the fresh apples from the trees on the grounds...

We booked CdC for 2 nights of our trip along the north coast of Spain and we highly recommend it. Whilst not exactly easy to find (and don't necessarily believe satnav, as ours placed it nearly a km away from the real location!) CdC is a wee gem! It is a beautiful rural hotel, set in lovely gardens and overlooking Gijon, with a delightful owner.

Rooms are spacious and well appointed, although there is no air con, so you may want to ask for an upstairs room so that you can keep your windows open. Breakfast is more than ample and beautifully presented.

Our only slight gripe was that our shower bracket was very loose and the shower drooped alarmingly. Other than that, the peace and comfort were exemplary.

Be aware, the owners, whilst extremely welcoming, speak only a few words of English.

PS, the short walk to the botanical garden is a must!
