I wasn’t expecting to be able to book a table so close to the Xmas holidays, but we did manage to get one barely 2 hours before our lunch meal. The headwaiter was waiting for as with our table ready and so it began a wonderful service. Several different waiters attended us, but they all were very well communicated with each other, as they always knew exactly what each of as had order at the beginning of the meal.

Our table was lovely and so it was the entire atmosphere on the restaurant, which it was full by the way.

The food was outstanding. We ordered a 24 euros seasonal menu and all the dishes we were given were awesome. Not only the food was nice, but also the size portions were good enough to get us through the whole afternoon. We were served a snack starter with cherry tomatoes and a black olives pate on top. As my entrance course I chose the boletus and duck ham salad with forest berries, and I though it was very seasonal and delicious. My meal was followed by a well-cooked sea bass and ended up with a pretty good brownie with mint ice cream. As it usually happens in Spain, the menu included bread, water and a nice bottle of local wine. We then order some coffee that it was not included on the menu, but the coffee came with a mini slice of apple pie, right how we like to have it after our lunch meals. Therefore, the whole experience was brilliant and we definitely will like to go back.

Being very very picky, I must said that I hate when any kind of clerk asks me for an id when I intend to pay with a pin/contact less bankcard; I don’t understand why so many Spaniards still want to see my id. Also, even when the toilet was really clean, I don’t quite get why someone would have such a huge basin and then put a tiny tap on it, because in the end you always end up battling your way with that huge bowl, I ‘ve seen this happening in lots of places. Nevertheless, I must say that this was a 5 star visit and, again, we intend to go back.

Great food and service, sit down service or bar service. They have a different menu every day, it cost around 18 euros, it includes an apetizer, main course an dessert, also it includes all the water and wine you want. The food is delicious. There is also a menu to order from. Elegant, sophisticated, a great place to eat and relax.

I entered the restaurant as the first customer at 8.30 pm – actually I had to wait in their bar before they gave me permission to sit at a table. The restaurant was nice and quite cozy in a modern way. I was given a table near the entrance to the large room in the back of the place. There were tables in the entrance area near the bar but they were probably used as lunch tables.

I was given the menu while I decided to continue with the wine I had enjoyed while I was waiting in the bar, which had been a local one. I quickly decided on my dishes that were a mix of dishes from the menu and the chef’s recommendations. I was given a lovely gazpacho as an appetizer followed by some amazing Iberico Jamon served with toasted bread covered with tomato juice with garlic. The ham was really amazing. Thereafter I was given a carpaccio with a parmesan ice cream in the middle. It was the first time I tasted parmesan ice cream and it was perfect match.

My main dish was a entrecote with mashed potatoes. I had asked to have it rare and it almost said muh. I really liked the fact that the chef had sprinkled lots of salt flacks all over. The final kill was something I never had tasted before and I must say that the mojito sorbet was something special; it was very fresh and I could still taste the alcohol that gave the sorbet an extra kick.

I finalized the meal with an espresso and a local brandy and it was an amazing meal and the biggest surprise was small bill I was left with for this magnificent meal.
