Received a recommendation from acquaintance to stay @ Casa del Poeta. Great location. Beautiful rooms. Breakfasts were well done. Service was spot on. They made arrangements to have our son’s partner picked up at airport and escorted to the hotel door given her late evening arrival time. A return trip to Seville would include staying here. Would not recommend for families travelling with children.

Seville is a really special and stunning place, ive been to Barcelona and Madrid before, but this part of Spain is not like the others. Casa del Poeta is a very charming boutique hotel, the indoor middle courtyard is just stunning and so Instagram worthy. The breakfast spread was so impressive, lots of ham and cheese cuts, fresh salmon, cakes, all sorts of bites and strong tasty coffee.
My only complaint about this hotel is I didnt stay long enough.

This hotel is a dream! About 8 years ago a charming palace was transformed into a fantastic boutique hotel. It is a true gem! Situation in the beautiful Santa Cruz area, in walking distance to all attractions, this romantic place has plenty of charm and 17 beautiful rooms. The Hotel organizes every evening a classical guitar performance in its wonderful patio. The breakfast buffet is outstanding equal only to the outstanding and very personalized service by its friendly staff. Although situated in old town with its bars and tapa places, the rooms are surprisingly quiet and offer good sleeping quality. This will certainly not be my last visit at this wonderful place, it is an experience on its own and worth every penny!

Room tip: Try to reserve a rom with balcony.

We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. From the moment we checked in til we checked out, we thoroughly enjoyed all of the special touches that this hotel offers its guests.

At check in, we were seated at a table in the hotel’s beautiful courtyard, and our drink orders were taken. As the staff filled out our paperwork, we relaxed sipping our drinks. It was my husband’s birthday that day, and next thing we knew, the staff brought out a beautiful (and delicious) chocolate cake with lit candles for the four of us to enjoy. What a nice surprise!

The rooms are decorated beautifully with modern bathrooms. Everything was spotless.

Breakfasts were delicious with a full buffet of hot foods, yummy homemade baked goods (my teenage daughter said that the croissants were baked with love!) and cheese and meats. And then the staff served each of us a plate of a variety of fresh fruit that was as good to eat as it looked.

We spent time relaxing on the rooftop and at night we enjoyed the music that was played in the courtyard.

The staff was lovely and helpful and we arranged for them to call a car to pick us up at the train, and to take us back to the train. That was very helpful because the hotel is a little hidden in the narrow roads of Savilla.

There’s truly no reason to stay anywhere else in Savilla. Just stay here. You will love it.

This boutique hotel is a wonderful combination of perfect location (5 minute walk to the cathedral and Alcazar), gorgeous interior, fantastic breakfast, and a highly professional wait staff.

We stayed at the apartments about a 3 minute walk from the hotel, which was a wonderfully large 2-bedroom apartment with kitchen, livingroom and two bathrooms. This is a great and very reasonable option for larger families.

The apartment and hotel are pristine - extremely clean and well maintained.

Breakfast is a phenomenal start to the day with a myriad of options from local cheese and Jamon, the freshest orange juice you will ever have, eggs, bacon, cakes, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee...you really cannot underrate the service and options here.

In the evenings, they have a spanish guitarist play while offering drinks in the magical courtyard. It is very romantic and a great way to start the evening before heading out to dinner.

There is a rooftop with tables and chairs to relax and get some sun.

There is AC, heat and fans, depending upon the time of year. All work very well.

The bathrooms have rain head showers as well as traditional shower heads, and everything is extremely clean.

The staff is as professional as I have ever experienced. Upon arriving, they provided a drink - beer, wine, water, etc - as they introduce you to the hotel and review amenities. They are attentive to any needs you may have.

Overall, this hotel delivered on everything you would want - atmosphere, convenience, comfort, amenities and service.

A wonderful choice that I highly recommend.
