This is a satellite hotel to the Halo hotel some 200 yd’s away. We were not informed of this at time of booking and were not told that breakfast would be in the Halo hotel. The room was much smaller than the pictures showed and the patio area was a piece of AstroTurf surrounded on all 4 sides by high walls.
The room was ok but tired. The bed was comfortable. We got what we paid for.
The location was excellent for sightseeing. The complimentary walking tour was brilliant.

We stayed 3 nights in November. The hotel is perfectly located in the old Santa Cruz part of the city close to the cathedral and Alcazar Palace. The quaint little streets around the hotel cannot be accessed by vehicles so your taxi will stop near the Alcazar Palace and the driver will walk you to your hotel, the same happens in reverse - the driver will collect you on foot from the hotel and walk you to the taxi. The hotel reception is in the Halo hotel just around the corner, this is also where breakfast is served if you take it. We had it on the last morning and it was substantial (hot and cold buffet) with prosecco on offer! There are so many restaurants, cafes and bars in this area that we preferred to explore and stop and eat along the way. The hotel bedroom was ok, quite small but adequate. Our room had a kettle and a few t-bags, but no coffee maker. The shower room was tired but had loads of hot water and shampoo and shower gel was supplied. The hair dryer was attached to the wall. We had to ask twice to get towels as there was only one in the room. We found the hotel very quiet at night as there is no road noise nearby. You may be woken quite early by the hotel laundry and supply carts coming along the cobbles but we didn’t mind as we wanted to be up early to explore. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. This hotel is fine for a few nights and in the perfect location to explore this beautiful city.
We chose this hotel due to its location and in the knowledge with a late flight back, at this price we were happy to pay for an extra night to have the room until 9pm without any concerns.
The hotel is basic and a little tired, so if you are planning a luxury escape this is not the place for you. However if you are looking for a central base to be able to walk to all the sights, with a nice clean quiet room, then this will do the job just nicely.
We ended up staying an extra night in Seville and found this hotel. It's located on a nice, quiet square. The front office staff was very helpful. We had a room in the back with a little patio which was nice for some fresh air. Room is tight, but we didn't end up spending much time in the room. I would definitely stay here again.
Good location which is a big plus. Hotel was average, but good for one or two nights.
Reception and breakfast is at a hotel around the corner, which isn't always ideal, however the breakfast at the other hotel was quite good, so it is worthwhile. You need to go to the other hotel for any service and they only have 1 staff member, but very helpful. Liked that I received a glass of sparkling wine on arrival (would probably not have received this at the Hotel Boutique Elvira). Taxi drops is not able to drop off outside the hotel, so try not to have to much baggage and there is no lift at the hotel.
Personally, the room is just okay. I don't think it deserves a star higher than 3. The only reason why I give it a three star and not a two because it's in a beautiful Spanish street area. You could only get here by foot. The room needs some update. I feel like I was living in a very old apartment back when I was in college. The room is really run down and very small. The bathroom walls need some painting. I wish they put a big mirror in the room by the bed because there's literally no room to do my hair and make up in the bathroom.
TIP 1: Our taxi guy drop us off by Plaza Alfaro from the train station. We walked through the quiet garden and almost got pick pocket by a couple who threw fake bird poop on us. I fell for it and turned around so the couple could help clean us up. Luckily they couldn't steal anything. Just be extra careful and watch your surrounding. Make sure to keep your money and passports in your money belt. If you take the taxi, have them drop you off by Cathedral de Sevilla church. Although it's a longer walk to the hotel but it's a lot safer.
TIP 2: We were in room 201 on the second floor facing the orange trees. The view is gorgeous, however, it's really loud early in the morning around 7AM - 8AM as the employees bring out tables and chairs.
