We had a tiny room without a window. Bedsheets’ cleanliness was seriously questionable. Bathroom dirty for two days despite cleaner ‘cleaning it’. Reception extremely slow and zero advice on car parking locations.
The only good thing about the hotel is the location, hotel is in city cetre and close to attractions and restaurants. Not sure it’s worth the price though.

Let me start by saying that this hotel is not the most glamorous, but is a great hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent reviews and a perfect location!
In preparation for our visit to Seville we researched the best hotels for excellent location and price and Hotel Goya was top of the list. The location is perfect. It made the entire city walkable within 20 minutes. It is minutes away from the main sights such as the Cathedral, ancient baths and Plaza de Espana, as well as being located in the Santa Cruz district which is filled with plenty of fantastic tapas bars.
The staff were very friendly and were happy to help and even stored our luggage as we had a later flight, so we could explore some more around Seville.
Our room was on the top floor (139) and we certainly didn’t hear any noise from the street, but we did have one small downside, the walls are quite thin and you can hear your neighbours opening doors and showering etc. This wasn’t an issue for us, but if you’re a light sleeper you may find it difficult. Apart from this issue towels and toiletries were replaced every day when the room was cleaned and we had a lovely window to let fresh air into the room.
For the excellent price and location to all the sights, I can't recommend Hotel Goya enough and would definitely stay here again - Thank you!
Perfect location, behind the cathedral on the edge of the Santa Cruz barrio, the old town. Clean, good front of house staff, great housekeeping, but if you need wifi for work purposes (not that this is a business hotel) it's just not reliable enough - drops out frequently. I had to sit under the wifi repeater on the landing some days and it still dropped out from time to time. Single room I was in was reasonably spacious, with adequate wardrobe and full bathroom. I've had tiny rooms with little clothes storage before, this was fine.
Small friendly hotel located close to all attractions in Seville. Hotel is basic, however staff are friendly, everything is clean and comfortable. The room was a little small but normal for Seville and there was no view from the window. Overall excellent value hotel for location.
Location is great. 5mins to the Alcazar, cathedral and with many eateries in the vicinity. The hotel is right beside one and it gets very noisy at night when the pub set up tables outside the hotel. Soundproofing is not good enough to filter the noise despite closing the doors/windows and drawing the curtains.
Also, there is a steep narrow flight of stairs to get to our room (130) which can be rather dangerous when lugging our suitcases.
Recommended hotel if you want to be in the heart of action but perhaps ask for other quieter, more accessible room.
Spent 7 nights here, ideally placed for city centre. Ditched the hire car, did not need it. Stylish hotel, room very nice, clean, comfortable. Bars outside very busy, but they all close down at midnight, so no problem. The only downside I could think of, is that the bed was a little too small for 2. Staff very friendly and helpful, 24/7 Concierge at front of house, Fernando speaks very good English, very helpful and knowledgeable on local matters. Highly recommend
