We stumbled across Casa Placido when wandering through Seville as we were looking for a traditional tapas bar for refreshments after walking around Plaze de Espana.

The service was fantastic and the food was even better. We had the acorn fed red chorizo, homemade croquettes, sirloin with blue cheese plus others. All very very good!! We loved it in here. Felt exactly like what a traditional Andalusian tapas should feel like.

We will no doubt return before leaving Seville but wanted to write a review to say Thanks to the owners!! Muchas gracias!!

Bar Casa Plácido in C.Mesón del Moro is a superb bar in the historic old town and is a fantastic bar to visit for a meal or a couple of drinks and was without doubt one of the most authentic bars we went to on our trip to Seville.
It's located in the historic winding streets in the old town and is very atmospheric.It has a truly wonderful interior with many fixtures and features relating to Sevillian culture all through its historic interior.Theres plenty of good seating area's both inside and on it's brilliant outside seating area and when we visited here it was packed.
When we visited here we had a few bottle's of Cruzcampo brewery beer's which where served iced cold and were very well priced considering the historic bar that we where in and were it's located.It's a superb bar in a superb area of Seville and its a bar thats well worth visiting.(This is my first reviews of Bar Casa Plácido).

Lovely little spot in old town of Seville. Great spot for people watching and amazing tapas. You must try the pork cheeks they are sublime

Very welcoming host in one of Seville’s authentic, historic tapas bars. Full of atmosphere with great tasting, traditional local food, cold beers and good selection of wines to match. Excellent value. Will definitely return
