My wife and I spent two nights here. The hotel is in a very good location if you drive to it. But, it is distant from the downtown and bus and train stations. We walked into town every day, which takes 20-30 minutes. The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. Rates are reasonable and the bar and restaurant are very good and reasonably priced. The breakfast was a little high priced at 11 euros given the limited selection of food items. Staff were wonderful. All in all, this is an excellent place to stay in Huelva. Expect to walk a ways if you don't have a car. It is a straight shot from the hotel into the very charming old part of downtown. Huelva has a lot of history and an excellent museum. We highly recommend the AC Hotel.

This hotel is right on the outskirts of Huelva, so it you want somewhere that is close to the centre of things, this isn't the place to stay. If, on the other hand, you're looking for somewhere to conduct a business meeting, then this is perfect. There is free very speedy WiFi in the lobby, which is kitted out with large desks and comfortable chairs. Internet access is available in the rooms but you have to purchase a pre-paid card from the reception, which is 12 euros for 24 hours. The rooms themselves are quite small but very modern, with the added bonus of having a free minibar stocked with soft drinks. There is also a gym on the first floor if you fancy a work out during your stay.

The breakfast is rather disappointing, with only cereal or a continental breakfast buffet on offer. The food on the menu at lunchtime or for an evening meal is of better quality though. There is plenty of parking either outside the hotel or in its own dedicated car park for guests.

Travelled from Germany by car and stopped for the night. The hotel was spotless and the night reception staff exellent, thanks Maria. The room cost 55 per night + VAT. The room was very comfortable and quiet so had a good nights sleep before heading off to the ferry for the canary islands. One slight criticsm, the bar was open but nobody manning it. had to go to reception who phoned somebody else to serve me. Service was great. Next morning I went for breakfast, but nobody was around again, so I gave it a miss.

Went outside the hotel, but there is nothing except large socail housing blocks. I could find nowhere to eat or drink in the near neighbourhood. For a one night stay it was everything I required, and I would stay there again.

We travel to Huelva for business each year and would never stay anywhere else. This hotel is perfectly suited to the business traveler's needs: the public areas are clean, spacious, light-filled, generously air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms spotless and well-appointed. The breakfast is ample and coffee and refreshments are made available to guests, free of charge, throughout the day. WiFi is free in the hotel lobby and breakfast room. The staff is excellent: highly professional and efficient, but also thoughtful, flexible and willing to go the extra mile to be helpful. The only drawback is that the hotel is rather far from downtown. Taxis and buses are close at hand, though, and the hotel offers ample parking as well. The hotel offers a simple selection of items on its 24-hour menu. You'd do better eating at some of the good tapas bars downtown or even on the avenue leading to downtown, but for a meal or two when you are tired or busy, the hotel is fine.

checking in was easy and quick. I had asked for a high level floor but was given a 2nd floor room! tried putting on the air conditioning but the hotel had it switched off as it is winter but the room was too warm for me. the mattress felt used although it was a queen sized bed with nice pillows. the free mini bar is soft drinks only so no alcohol but the hotel advert does not say this. in the lounge area at fixed times there is free coffee and soft drinks which is nice while you use the free wifi service. garage charge of 10 euros plus vat is ok but the entry into the garage is difficult for large cars. close to the university but far from the centre of town and very little to do around the hotel. the exercise room has basic items in it but enough for a work out. I did not try the buffet breakfast

Room tip: the main road into Huelva is outside the hotel so go for a high level room furthest away from the reception desk
