Very nice restaurant with great food. One should try the tuna tatami, also the braised salmo and braised tuna nigiri. Thanks to Yolanda for all the suggestions

We visited this place for lunch and we ordered two lunch meny since we wanted to try out more than only the sushi. We could choose between alot of different first, second and third courses. Included in the prize was also a bevarage. We had sushi for the second dish. The first and third dish were more vegetarian friendly dishes and tasted very good with a combination of new and interesting flavours. All together it was too much food so we brought the rest with us in a doggy bag. At the end we also got some plom sake on the house. It was delicious! The waitress, Yolanda, was very friendly and helpful with her recommendations. She desveres an extra star. We will definetly recommend this restaurant to our friends in the future. We absolutely recommend to try the takoyaki, algie salad and meshi aisushi rice.

Our second visit. The food was, as before excellent. We found the wide choice of options perfect for lovers of all types of Japanese style food. Service, even though the restaurant was busy, was efficient, polite and helpful. We did not feel rushed at all.Yolanda speaks very good English, even though we do try Spanish, and she was helpful in recommending dishes we would not ordinarily try - her suggestions were perfect. We will go again. Table booked via El Tenedor worked very well.

Dinner for 5 was delicious, even for a vegan. A 30 pieces for 5 people with the usual sushi dishes was great. Starters a pork soup (I forgot what it's called) and miso soup were also great.

Wait staff wasn't the most helpful.

Very modest prices for two bottles of wine, two sodas, one glass of wine, two starters, 30 pieces, and a shiitake roll. (Under just under €100).

This restaurant strongly stands out from the Granadino cityscape with its clearly Japanese styling. Certainly, upon entering the establishment the simple, but pleasing aesthetic will clearly indicate that the restaurant owners know a thing or two about Japan.

We were greeted by a lovely woman named Yolanda who tended to our needs, and best of all (although, I'm sure it was quite obvious that my wife and I were tourists) asked if we preferred Spanish or English in terms of the menu. This was a welcome change from all the other places we had eaten so far, where like true British folk, we felt embarrassed by our poor ability of speaking another language. So the fact that we were able to converse in English made things much nicer.

We ordered the octopus salad (which I will say, did not have as much octopus as I hoped for and a lot more cucumber, but maybe I'm greedy), the ramen soup with pork loin (wonderfully flavoured), and the "premium" sushi platter which comprised of 32 pieces of finely produced sushi in a combination of maki, futomaki, gunkan and nigiri. We finished with a lovely green tea tiramisu, which I especially liked as it was light on the coffee! The quality of the food was astounding, and I probably would have easily ordered more food were it not for the fact that the afternoon service had ended.

It is a pricier than what the is offered more locally, but it is worth splashing out for, especially if you want an alternative to the "jamon y queso" that is so predominant.
