Our stay at Casa 1800 was impeccable. Our room was spacious yet cozy, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Bathroom amenities (Molton Brown) are fabulous. Views to the Alhambra as well as an easy (uphill!) walk to visit the incredible site. Definitely recommend including breakfast, it is a great way to start a day of exploring Granada. The staff are very helpful and gave the great recommendations of El Trillo (reservations required) and Oliver (paella!) for dinners. The only downside is that since Casa 1800 is situated in Granada Central you can spend all your time exploring this area to the exclusion of the rest of Granada. A return trip to explore the rest of Granada is a necessity!

Room Tip: Room 23 was absolutely beautiful, lots of windows, views to the Alhambra. Quiet room, accessed by stairs and elevator.

Or nephew had recommended Hotel Casa for our overnight stay in Granada and how right he was. It was a really good rate when we booked with breakfast included and right in the heart of the places we wanted to visit. No parking was allowed in this part of the old city but we had received a lovely email on booking with simple instructions to a parking station with which the hotel had a good rate. A six minute easy walk and things got interesting. The signs pointed up an alley lines with Turkish rugs and a great little shop. A couple of more twists and turns and we saw the sign. At this point a little concern was rising but stepping through the door relieved all of that. A stylish mix of the modern and traditional, fabulous service and beautiful rooms.

We stayed in Casa 1800 in second week in April 2018. The hotel was everything we wanted. A quiet location in the historical part of the city just off the busy square, yet close to all the shops and restaurants. We wanted a traditional, historical experience and the hotel delivered on all counts. We had requested rooms on the second floor but did not get those. This isn’t a criticism. We had the Junior suite No 15 on the first floor and our two daughters had the superior room No 17 on the same floor. Both rooms had a window to the outside and both rooms were beautiful and very nice and clean. Generous complimentary refreshments were offered daily (1630-1830) in the pleasant courtyard. Staff were helpful, friendly and happy to recommend and book any sites to visit. The only downside was the weather, cold ( 12 deg) and raining, but that did not stop us enjoying the major historical sites and wandering around the town. We will come back again.
A comment not a criticism. Some rooms appeared to only have a window to the central courtyard. I am not sure if these are the standard rooms. One always gets what you pay for. Book a superior room or suite. Ask for the second floor in hope of getting it.

Room Tip: avoid ground floor rooms, ask for rooms with windows to the outside not the courtyard

What a wonderful place. Great staff, facilities and ambience. Would love to come back. Not far from Alhambra, shopping and restaurants. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful. Every room is unique and well appointed.

We have just come back from 4 days, 3 nights, at the Casa 1800. It was perfect! The hotel was wonderful for location-it was very close to the Alhambra Palace and we enjoyed glasses of wine gazing at the palace, with the river running past. Everything is walkable. The Cathedral is a 5 minute by and there are many lovely squares. We booked the Alhambra Palace in advance and we went at 4pm for 7 pm, starting from the gardens and then the 3 Palaces. Our Guide was very knowledgeable which made the Palace alive. Our hotel was quaint, the staff could not do more for you. We felt very welcomed., The complimentary bottle of chilled Cava was a lovely touch! Complimentary sparkling water, still water, coffee and tea 24 hours was very welcome, as was the complimentary afternoon tea from 4.30pm up to 60m. Breakfast was an assortment of cereals, breads, fresh fruit, cheese, scrambled eggs and croissants, and tea or coffee. The quality of the hotel, it's location and the lovely staff deserved it's 5 rating. Many thanks! The" Rowland Family" (Julie and Nigel).

Room Tip: We were in room 16 and as you come out, you look down to the courtyard. Lovely!
