Really beautiful views and worth the walk up the hill. At night it really comes alive and the views are spectacular.

It is basically a small area from which you can look at the Palace on the other side of the valley. There are a number of restaurants and bars near the small church of San Nicholas. It is at the top of a steep and long hill, which is walk-able if fairly fit - we caught the hop-on hop-off train from the city centre at 4 euros each [or 6 euros each for under 65's] for the whole day!!

Very touristy and pricy. The view is great, but the atmosphere is not. There are other viewpoints to be discovered!

We'd booked a restaurant nearby early evening so we could watch the sunset from San Nicolas. We'd walked up a little early so walked up to the square. It was buzzing, live music, kids, couples, groups of friends. The atmosphere was lovely. We came back a couple of hours later to take some more photos after visiting the small (and really friendly) shop opposite. We bought some beers and went and sat back up there listening to people playing Spanish guitar and just watched what was going on. Lovely spot. Amazing views, I wish we'd found this on the first night!

It seems that all the tourists in Granada come here at sunset, and why not? The best views in the city. Do it or be forever sorry you didn't join in the fun!
