Located by the Carrera del Darro and in the Albayzin quarter of the city, the hotel is a nice one. It appears to be a reconverted casa. Its location is good for touring. Reception is on the main floor and the rooms on two floors above. There is an elevator. If you are driving, all I can say is good luck and hopefully you will miss holidays and weekends to get a parking spot at San Martin for which there is a discount. River rooms have a modest view of the Alhambra. The regular rooms are modest in size; the superior rooms, ample. The front door to the hotel and your room are opened by the same key. There is not someone at reception 7/24 so check-in time has to be roughly provided in advance. The public area décor is modest but tasteful; the general woodwork, excellent. It is in a quiet area of town ie away from bars. Did not have breakfast at the hotel. Leave the 'No molestar' card on the door if you don't want the maid in.More
