I would totally agree with the precious reviews. Great staff, excellent and attentive. Wonderful outside tapas, and comfortable, cool inside dining. We celebrated with succulent squid that almost melted in our mouths, excellent Blanco and Tinto wine, assisted in our selection by the owner. Crispy sardines. Astounding monkfish. Assorted postres to finish. A full experience. Grab an outdoor table and feast on tapas. Go inside for the bar. Further inside for lower temperature dining. Please go. Have a beer/wine. Eat.

Spent the best part of 2 hours waiting for 3 starters and 5 main courses. One first course came after 30 mins and then after several complaints some of the others came at 1 hour 45 (a first and main course for one person). All accompanied by nonchalant aggressive indifference and a small plate of prawns thrown in by way of "apology". At this point we left. The place wasn't even busy!

We wanted to eat at Cunini but it was a Monday night and they were closed so we went next door to Oliver. It was also recommend to us by some locals from Granada. Food was average. Service was really slow. I don't particularly recommend it.

We had lunch at this restaurant and it was totally awesome. The restaurant has a big menu comprised of fish, meat, soups and salads, but I think the best choice would be the shrimp !! The waiter did not really speak English but we managed to communicate with him. We ordered the fried shrimp , a pepper salad ( very interesting) and a seafood paella ( very generous portion) which was all very good and tasty. The atmosphere of the street is also quite interesting with all these little tapa restaurants and a market at the top of the street makes it a very lively afternoon experience. Overall I really recommend this restaurant for anybody who want to enjoy savoury food and a nice authentic Granada experience.

My family visited Bar Oliva totally by chance
it was slightly over lunch time
most restaurants around were quite empty
but this one was full of locals esp old folks
so we decided to have something there
above all everything was excellent and delicious
I am willing to recommend this place to anyone visiting Granada
two thumbs up!!
