Came in Mid November, we tend to find at this time the weather is good and the area is quiet. Dropped by transfer outside the Hotel and set of down the ramp to reception only to hear Armando one of the excellent Porters shouting to us the reception has been moved. This is just one of many changes since our last visit and I think all the changes are for the better. We had arrived at the hotel early because of flight times, no problem, our room was ready and we could use it from 11.30 am!! We treated ourselves to a Junior Suite on the Level, the room was fantastic, very clean and well presented. There is a lounge area, bed area and a great shower room and a wraparound Balcony that allowed the sun to shine on it from early morning till mid to late afternoon. We then took a call from Sol one of the level receptionists who invited us to visit the Level lounge, this area was fantastic, the food, snacks everything was perfect and the views matched everything else. We were on half board, so breakfast we had in the level lounge were everything was available and food could be cooked fresh if you required, our evening meals we had in the Main restaurant, we couldn’t fault the food, loads to choose from and something different every night, attention to detail was applied to everything...Came in Mid November, we tend to find at this time the weather is good and the area is quiet. Once again the staff were excellent. After dinner we would return to the Level were Alcoholic drinks are available inc beers and shorts for a couple of hours. Later in the evening we would catch the entertainment on offer, again this has changed and is much better than in previous years.
Most afternoons after visiting various areas on the Costa del sol we would go to the Level Lounge for snacks, and soft drinks inc tea/ coffee etc, no beers, but wine is available, seems strange but the hotel must have their reasons.
During our afternoon and evening visits we were looked after by the Excellent receptionist Eve, she was very polite, professional and friendly, a Melia tressure.
This was a great visit and we will return and use the Level service in the future.More
