Well it’s taken a long time to post a review purely because of holiday blues

I can’t say enough about this hotel but I’ll pick out the best bits

Travelled here as a family of 5 and first impressions of the hotel were good but have to say the hotel is amazing

The staff throughout go over and above to accommodate your needs

The food was brilliant and having 3 fussy eaters my girls ate well

Breakfast had an array of food on offer, one tip go before 10am as this is when it’s busy

The pool areas are very clean the pool itself was always clean

The entertainment staff were just brilliant and believe me they work hard! Lots for the children and adults to do during the day

Every evening the hotel put on live singers who were good and kept guests entertained

The location of the hotel is brilliant with only a short 5 minute walk to the beach and then around 15minutes to the main town

I literally can’t recommend this hotel enough - even been looking for deals for October half term!

Stunning hotel in a brilliant location.

Breakfast was delicious with a huge choice.

Bedrooms were very large and extremely clean. Staff were really pleasant too.

The yoga and pilates classes guided by Jordi were excellent.

We saw the negative reviews before coming to this hotel and were slightly worried that it wasn’t going to meet our expectations but it has been amazing!!!! We had a level family room as a family of 3 with our 6 year old. Our stay has been amazing! He was provided with a kids pack when he arrived which he loved. The pool scene has been great everyday with things for the kids such as a water mat, games and inflatables in the pool. We got an inflatable for the pool from one of the huts outside by the beach. Kids club always looked good with things on in the evening for the kids such as cinema, disco. The drinks are a bit expensive but you are in an expensive hotel! If you don’t want to pay it there are little huts outside the hotel along the beach where you can get large bottles of water for €1 and we brought them back to our room and used them round the pool. The same for ice lollies. More choice at the little huts and cheaper although you can get a few ice creams at the pool bar. We went half board and the food has been the best buffet food we have ever had! Fresh fish and meat cooked at lunch to go with the delicious salads. Our son could have sausage and chips every lunchtime or pasta... although he ate fresh sardines most days. A massive selection of fish and meat to be cooked to your liking. The breakfast was great too.. I had fresh omelettes everyday. My 6 year old enjoyed the bacon and hash browns and the little cakes. I really can’t understand the reviews saying there isn’t much choice! When we ate in the buffet during the evening (you can use half board for lunch or evening meal) there was pizza for the kids and always a few choices of pasta and sauce. Always a pot of paella too. I guess if you want chicken nuggets and burgers then that isn’t there but there were chicken kebabs, and sausage and rolls to make a hot dog! Lots of sweets for the kids too and ice cream. A bottle of wine with our evening meal was reasonable and really nice. The only thing we didn’t think we would book again is the level. Even though it is advertised as the level family - and there is a family area in the level, it is more for adults. The outdoor terrace which overlooks the pool is adults only and you can only get alcohol in the adults section. You could take this into the outdoor level communal area but it was just a garden with seats. Our 6 year old just wanted to be in the pool non stop so we never really used the level. You couldn’t take the food or drinks out of there so we only ever went in on our own for a quick coffee. Adults would use it more as you can have all your alcoholic drinks included. Many sat in there 6-8pm with unlimited drinks. We never used it for breakfast or lunch either as there was so much choice at the main restaurant and didn’t see the point. Think next time we would book a premium family room or a suite. There is a supermarket as you get close to the port which we got some wine and beers for us to enjoy in the room whilst getting ready to go out. No mad rush to get the sun loungers in the morning and we went at peak time. The pool doesn’t open till 10am. Plenty of beds. Walking distance to all the lovely restaurants in Puerto Banús. Our son loved the pirate ship bar and La Bocana was a lovely place to eat. All in all a fantastic place which we will definitely return to!!!
