My hubbie and I stayed in room 301 for 4 nights in March 2017.

Although our room had little in the way of a useable balcony, it was very well equipped in all other respects with lots of thoughtful touches such as a clothes horse, make up mirror and plenty of space.

Other room facilities included a super-king bed, Tv, mini bar, safe, bath with shower over, separate sink and make up area with hairdryer, toiletries, seating and bags of wardrobe space.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of freshly prepared food and drinks in plentiful supply (fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, cooked English breakfast, breads, yoghurts, smoothies and cereals).

The gym and pool were added bonuses.

Staff were friendly and efficient and the entire hotel was spotless.

Although other hotels are better located, we enjoyed the walk along the front into the old town (30 mins) and Puerto Banus (60 mins).

Conclusion: The NH Marbella is a very well run hotel that's excellent value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoy!

I stayed at this hotel for a week in February first of all the rooms and cleaning were first rate however I was on a 5th floor suite but could not use the sitting room as it was like sitting in a large cupboard due to there being no natural light or even pictures. No a coffee machine a three piece suite and a television was just about it. Which probably explains why I stayed 95% in my bedroom.

I stayed at this hotel for a week while looking for property in Costa del Sol. The hotel is clean & comfortable. The breakfast was great! It is a quiet, subdued place that makes for a nice launching pad. However, it is a tough walk to get to the beach from here. You must cross a busy road & wind your way through neighborhoods without much in the way of signage to help. Likewise, when driving, getting to the hotel feels very difficult due to the strange way the Spanish handle left and right turns. It is NOT intuitive!

All things considered, though, I'd probably stay here again. Unless I wanted to walk to the beach...

I booked a superior room for three adults. But when we checked in there was a nice surprise waiting for us. Nice connecting room (suite). So, our daughter get her own space with bed, sofa and big TV.

The hotel itself is not in the heart of Marbella, but it is very nice. With very good breakfast served until 11 am.Ten minutes walk to beach road and about 25 min to Old Town.

Staff were friendly and polite.Few problems solved fast and smooth.

If (when) we go back to Marbella, this is a choice number one.

I have never been moved to write such a devastating review and I hope I am never so again.

I stayed at this hotel for a week, but had I not prepaid it I would not have stayed a second night. So much was wrong, twelve items in fact, but when I reported them the hotel politely ignored them all.

It all started when I was refused credit in the restaurant for dinner: the receptionists had failed to swipe the card I offered them on arrival and check-in, and even after I re-presented it after dinner they failed to inform the restaurant. The next day I was asked to pay cash before breakfast. The dinner food and wine (the latter served in a dirty used glass, duly sent back) were disgusting anyway though I did not say that at the time.

There is no lounge ('We are a business hotel for bed and breakfast only. Business hotels don't have lounges'); furniture was broken; electrics were faulty or not working at all.

The telephone notepad in the room was not replaced when used up and neither was the little piece of soap initially provided. ('You are not supposed to use soap in the bath or shower.')  There was no pre-breakfast TV or Radio service on two mornings out of seven. ('Antenna problems').

But the hotel was blameless for everything. There were no satisfaction survey sheets to be seen, nor any  literature  on the group loyalty scheme. Nor was any complaints and comments book advertised anywhere, and no attempt (beyond soap replenishment) made to resolve my concerns.

Even when alerted to corridor and stairwell  firestop doors above electrical cupboards left open every night (and day) by staff, no action was taken.

And of course no compensation was offered beyond a 'Welcome Tray' featuring some dry toast, a bit of breakfast cheese, a bottle of water and a sliced strawberry.

Worst of all,  I copied the complaint to the parent company but though receipt was acknowledged they showed no interest whatsoever.

With a local, and corporate, attitude like that, this hotel should be avoided like the plague. No way can I recommend it to the organisations I work for with a view to sending groups to Marbella for holidays. The management's  attitude to client safety and welfare is such that lives are put at needless risk.
