Just returned from a family holiday at the hotel Grand Melia Don Pepe and would highly recommend. The hotel was very Covid friendly and clean and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful or accommodating particularly the manager Abel and the pool attendants Rafa and Raouel. Perfect base in Marbella.

We were meant to stay at the Puerto Banus property but where upgraded to this hotel instead. Spend a lot of time at the hotel enjoying the pool and dining facilities, I could not recommend more this hotel for a relaxing holiday at the sea. The staff at the hotel were always super friendly and helpful and we felt always very well taken care of. We'll be back.
Location is very good. You can walk to the Old City of Marbella plenty of restaurants and shops, also the promenade facing the beach is nice. The rooms are a little bit old but comfortable. Swimming pools and services are very good. Parking is ok (in summer you must look for a place at the shadow). Breakfast is excellent and the staff perform very well.
We stayed for three nights. Really enjoyable experience; can not fault the hotel at all. The pool area is spacious and relaxing. They take COVID super seriously - they have done everything possible to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Breakfast staff were really nice and attentive. 3 days felt like a week it was such a nice environment.

I booked 3 nights last week, extended to 4, and this hotel is quite possibly the best hotel I ever stayed in for overall experience. Being Ambassador level with Marriott, Diamond with Hilton, and many more, I typically stay in hotels 150+ times a year and this was by far the best overall experience of any hotel I can remember. The layout of the ground floor lobby, bar, gardens and pool has been really well thought out and very open and fresh. Red level room with sea view was again modern and fresh, but the most impressive part was the service. Even before COVID, this would be great service, but everyone in the hotel was happy, enthusiastic, smiling and did everything they could to make my stay perfect despite the COVID restrictions across all Spain. Special mention is deserved for the maids, who were always accommodating and happy. Waiting staff for breakfast and red lounge just the same. Every member of staff around the pool was exceptional.. specifically the gentlemen helping with towels and providing bar service. Nothing was too much trouble, and always with a smile. Of course I’ve stayed in remote desert islands that might be more exclusive, or city centre hotels with more formal 5 star service, but as said earlier, I cannot recall a better overall experience. Best hotel in Marbella and all of Spain for sure. Will certainly return. Thanks for a great experience

Properly the best Hotel I have stayed on in whole Spain. The service as well as the restautrants was absolutely top class. The garden was a chapter itself and the cleaning of the pool area was top as well.
We will absolutely visit that hotel again - hopefully when covid 19 is history.
