Plaza del Siglo (Square of the Century) is a wonderful city square in the historic center of Malaga. It is located at Calle Granada, where Calle Duque de la Victoria and Calle Molina Lario intersect. The square is called after the new (20th) century when it was inaugurated. For a few years the square was named Plaza Manual Loring, in honor of the mayor of Malaga who was killed here.
In the center of the square a large steel sculpture is placed called Panta Rei (everything flows), representing seven large leaves. This sculpture is made by Blanca Munoz from Madrid and represents a waterway that flows into the sea.

It is a clean, small square, surrounded by well restored, beautiful buildings. The modern sculpture in the center is named Panta Rei.

The Plaza del Siglo is a plaza at the end of Calle Molina Lario. There is nothing special about this plaza. There is one good building with good architecture, and the building is always freshly painted and very clean. It contains one new restaurant on the ground floor.
