Lovely setting just outside of Arcos de la Fronteria itself.
Quaint hotel with only 10 rooms.
The room was spacious & beautifully decorated in keeping with the the age of the cortijo.
Wonderful view from the large terrace overlooking the olive grove.
The staffing levels are minimum due to the financial problems the golf course has had in recent years, but the staff were very attentive & this did not impact on the service in any way.
The only disappointment was the breakfast, whilst I understand that if there are only a few guests it would be a complete waste to fill the hot food dishes maybe it would have been better to offer cooked food on demand.
The toaster warmed the bread & little else & the fresh fruit was not that fresh.
Not worth €7 per person.
However the dinner experience was very good, the menu was was good & the food well cooked and nicely presented.
I would definitely go back again.More
