I thoroughly recommend ReComiendo. The food was by measure both traditional and avant garde, with Andalusian cuisine being pushed beyond into new regions. Periko came out to describe each course, with a running count happening on the last dessert...

It is only a matter of time before he gets his Michelin star for this restaurant; he might even manage two if he can take some of the unevenness out of the cooking.

Wine pairing was immaculate, if surprising, especially for the whites and rose.

Best of all, all this amazing food came at a price of 50 euros! I am in awe.

Fine dining in Cordoba. We have experienced the 12-course tasting menu, that brings local Andalusian dishes with a new twist, as well as a-la-carte dishes. Every time chef Periko Ortega surprised us with the dishes and wine pairing. It is a cosy restaurant with an outstanding and very affordable cuisine in an relaxed atmosphere.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the Restaurant Recomiendo in Cordoba. We were recommended by the waiter to choose the 12 course surprise menu and so we did. Fantastic food with lots of surprising and enjoyable elements as well as excellent service. The chef himself came by our table and described every dish for us (in English). We also enjoyed the wines very much, so well paired with the dishes.
And the price for such a fantastic dinner was amazingly affordable.
The location is just about 10 minutes drive from Cordoba centre. We will love to come back to this restaurant!

It was my birthday and saw this restaurant on trip advisor and thought we'd go, well we weren't disappointed. From the moment you walk through the door, your welcomed by friendly and charming staff they we very attentive and we're happy to advise you on your choices. We went for the taster menu with the five wines. This was the right choice, when each course that came out the chef Periko came to the table to describe the dish, he certainly is a very talented chef, he produces some amazing taste combinations that really work well together. Thank you Periko and all your staff for a very memorable birthday meal, we will certainly go back the next time we visit Córdoba and also tell all our friends. Thanks again
