after a week in Spain and 1000 km, we were still searching for a great tapas bar and Torreluz is were we found it. just enter the bar (not the restaurant) you will find a very wide range of tapas, most of them for 2-3 euros and it will blow your mind. The staff advised us to order the tapas one by one and we just couldn't stop. everything was tasty and of quality. we ended up staying until they closed. Just a wonderful experience

This restaurant is linked to the Hotel across the road but it's also next to the Marriott where we stayed. The food is reasonably priced, considering it's part of a restaurant and the tapas were delicious. They have a few tapas which seem to be a bit fusion - i.e. prawns with petso - but nonetheless they were delicious. I would also recommend the Almeria desert which was puff pastry with a lemon cream. I can't remember the name but it is out of this world. It comes with chocolate ice cream but I also tried it with marron (chestnut) and it's much nicer. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I were staying next door in AC Almeria. We ventured out on our first night and came across this place. Classy, inexpensive, friendly and quality tapas served free with drinks. Since yhen we have tried other tapas bars - all good but this one stands out!

We had picked up a leaflet at the Tourist office (who were very heplful) of "VII Ruta de Tapas" and found La Barra, , part of Torreluz Mediterraneo. Service was excellent and the tapas were marvellous. best tapas ever tasted.
