Visited with three friends with table booked for 2030. Food that we had was fine but we were surprised that when we asked for tap water were told that for four or more we had to have bottled (we also bought aperitifs and two bottles of wine). At 2145 we were ready for dessert to be told no - the kitchen had already closed. It would have been simple to have alerted us at the outset. Not a good experience and certainly not (British) customer oriented,

A lovely small restaurant specializing in steaks of Fabulous quality and good wines. We had a lovely meal with more than we could eat. Excellent service. Can be Highly recommended .

There is nothing much to say here: gastronomically, I've seen far more exciting places than Weimar, but this is not bad at all. Nice atmosphere, good food, and as so often in Germany, reasonable prices.

The venue itself is nice but the menu was limited and the food a little dated (i.e. it was probably quite innovative and different 10 years ago). The restaurant does specialise in steaks and the meat was good, but the accompaniments, a big slab of garlic bread and a soft cheese stuffed tomato, left something to be desired.

We went in to have a beer and decided to eat here. How lucky we did. The food was excellent as was the service. My husband's calves liver was superb as was my selection of bruschetta. It proved to be one of the best meals we had and it was our first night
