A bit too basic for my liking, pillows were awful no air-con or fan, busy road a very noisy if your room faces it. Bathroom was adequate and very clean. If you are on a budget and want somewhere to crash I suppose this is really well located.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms which face the main road if you like to sleep with a window open.

We spent two nights here. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was very good and easy to use. TV and wi-fi worked well. It's a pity that no kettle is ever provided in Europe. The breakfast was fairly basic but adequate and included good muesli and rolls. The staff were helpful. We were sorry we didn't have the chance to finish our conversation with the "evening" lady who booked us in but she was on the phone the second time we went back to the hotel and then we didn't see her again. It's only 2 minutes from the station and about 10 minutes into the town centre. Eisenach is an attractive and interesting place to visit. It's also possible to get a train to Gotha which is also worth a short visit. We went there for one evening.

This hotel is quite old but has been refurbished to a high standard. Our room was simply furnished but good-sized and comfortable. The bathroom was entirely covered in sparkling white tile, and the shower was excellent. The in-room WIFI worked perfectly (once we went back to reception and got the password). The channels on the flat-screen TV included BBC News in English. Breakfast was good. For anyone traveling by train, the location a stone's throw from the station can't be beat. The only thing that keeps me from rating this hotel as excellent is that, as a previous reviewer has said, it is a bit expensive for a hotel that is not in one of the big cities.

We stayed in this hotel for one night during our travel in Germany. The hotel is located near the train station and close to the historic city center, which is a great plus. Our room was in the third floor towards the inner courtyard. So it was very quiet during the night. The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay. The buffet wasn't that big, but enough choice to get full. A bit awkward is the way of registering to use the free Wifi. We needed to register at the reception and then got a code. Also that we had to pay during check-in was a bit weird.
The downside of this hotel is in my opinion the price. The rooms are very simple and functional, no decoration or extras like a water cettle. But the room rate is comparable to really big cities or tourist hot-spots in Germany. Also the fee of 5 Euro for the hotel parking space is pretty high. If you want to park the car for free, you can try the small parking lot near the pharmacy. Follow the street from the hotel towards the city centre. It is on the left side, just before the intersection.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the inner courtyard are quite.

This hotel is in a good location near to the town centre. My single room requested was actually a comfortable double. Very clean and good, friendly cleaning staff.
Breakfast was small but good with lovely fresh bread rolls and a street view from the window.
The one gripe was that the map directions to the car park were ridiculously innacurate and I had to, embarrasingly, ask for further directions.
The lady on reception was not exactly "warm + friendly", but effiicient. One possibly unusual thing is that I was asked to pay before my stay.
