Christmas and an Oratorio

We visited to see Bach's Christmas Oratorio sung in the Thomaskirche, a magnificent performance. We loved Leipzig .. beautiful, busy, superb Christmas market, excellent museums, good food and a welcoming atmosphere ... and what a magnificent Hauptbahnhof!!

Room tip: The only slight hesitation is in the quality of the beds. I found mine to be too hard and unyielding and not conducive to a good sleep.

Very convenient hotel, friendly staff

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and used Leipzig as a base to visit the Luther towns. The breakfast is excellent and starts at 6 am in the morning. It is also very near the train station and the room is quiet.
It makes it an excellent hotel to have a good night’s rest, wake up early in the morning, have a good breakfast and take a morning train to visit the Luther towns.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned well every day. We enjoyed our stay there.

Nice and clean

Very good stay at intercity. It’s so convenient with the free transport in the city. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, good breakfast and polite staff. I would stay at intercity again :) the location very central and easy to get to and from

Room tip: Exits pillows in the bed. Could be nice when reading or watching tv . Also more English speaking channels in the tv

Surprisingly excellent stay

App use is very easy and keyless option is a welcome feature. With the app there is no hassle or waiting in line to check in or out.
Room is clean and nicely maintained.
Free ticket for public transportation is great.

Room tip: lights at bedside too bright or cannot be dimmed.

Good Hotel Near Train Station

I stayed here for two nights. It is very close to the main train station. You exit to the right and the hotel is two blocks away. My room was very modern and nice. Despite some construction nearby the room was quiet. I had a refrigerator in my room and they provided a bottle of water without a cost. The hotel is also easy to reach tourist sites and restaurants. We used the grocery stores and bakeries below the train station. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. Overall it was just right for my visit.
