Context:
- I stayed in this hotel ~4 months in a time span of 7 months
- I stayed in all types of rooms( single, double and apartments)

Bad things about the hotel:
- really bad internet connection ( poor signal reception in most of the rooms )
- the fact that no change was made to internet infrastructure in the last 7 months of my stay even though the problem was reported at reception multiple times - solution provided was a change of room where wifi router was closer ( in front of the door )
- in winter in single rooms it is quite cold as there is only 1 small radiator
- breakfast menu is never changed ( always same food )

Good things:
- Clean hotel
- Location is really good
- Generally it is quiet
- Cheap money wise
- Friendly staff
- Free parking

Room Tip: Choose apartments with wifi router in front of the door.

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk to a newer main area of Dresden. It is a very quaint property, with the sense that they are more geared to casual vacationers rather than business people. It's located in a quiet neighborhood that seemed mostly residential, with a school nearby. My room was comfortable, except the shower was elevated high off the ground (a high step up!) and it was stall size, not tub size. The in-room WiFi was quite slow, and the lobby computer is a classic.

However, opening the door to the breakfast room I got a complete different perspective. The hotel corridors are dark; the breakfast room was happy and sunny. The sleeping room was small; the breakfast room was expansive. I could not be happier with the breakfast! They served many choices, with delicious treats. I did not see any bottled still water and did not think to ask for it, but otherwise this breakfast was very special.

Room Tip: If you have time, dine in the restaurant next door. It is a family-run combination brewery/restaurant with authentic dishes that are hearty and very tasty.

I'm staying in this hotel for a few months (already more than 2 passed). The employees are great, the breakfast is also great, the rooms are clean, wi-fi is free but the speed of the connection depends on the distance to the router.

The normal rooms are not so large, the fridge is missing. I recommend you to ask for an apartment if you stay for a longer period. If you come in the Winter time just make sure that the heat is on before your arriving.

The distance to the downtown (Zentrum) is about 10-15 min of walk and near the hotel you can find Lidl and also a bistro. The parking is free of charges.

On our way back to Denmark we stayed over in Dresden for a single day to see this very impressive city. The Achat comfort is located, so you easily can use the public transportation into the city center. The Room was OK with modern design, good utilization of the rather small room, very clean and proper. Free parking in the basement and good breakfast. Only thing missing, which was serious in the late afternoon, was the aircondition.

Apart from the noise at night (the hotel is on a main road) and the small bathroom it was OK - clean room, comfy beds (pillow is too hard though), free parking in the basement and really good wifi connection in the room. We didn't try breakfast as it was rather pricey and we didn't hire a bike but the possibility was there. The city centre is at walking distance and there is a lovely brewery right next to the hotel where you can taste local beer and food.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the back where it is probably quieter.
