Its actually does give feelin like stay at frds place. Large and connivence room with small kitchen and big sofa. Although the tv is quite old bt functional. Breakfast serve at hotel (5 mins walking). Location of this apart is straight forward to main train station. Would recommend

The room was very nice, clean and nice interior. The room was also quite spacious and it was nice that they left some small supplies in case you want to use the kitchenette.
However, if you are not able to climb stairs I would not recommend this hotel, because the elevator does not get you to the ground floor, there are quite some stairs to climb. Another disadvantage is that the hotel is located in a kind of hipster area I assume, there are 3 gaybars just around the corner and in the weekends it can be really noisy. Also at times I felt the neighbourhood was a little sketchy. Oh and there was no airconditioning so it would get very hot in the room!

Another big disadvantage was the really small bathroom, it was barely possible for us to be there simultaneously!
But overall a nice place to stay.

Room Tip: third floor on the corner was very noisy on saturday night

We had an amazing apartment on the 5th floor. On the first level there was a kitchen with a big table with big windows to look outside unobstructed. Upstairs was the bedroom with a small sofa and coffee table, big windows and a really cozy feeling.
Really spacious apartment and great value for money.

Room Tip: The higher floor the better

Stayed here but didn't actually stay here... The apartment was like a cheerless office on the 5th floor - the lift didn't actually go to the ground floor so a long flight of stairs before you get to the two man lift.

Bathroom was downstairs with kitchenette and a desk. That was it. Then up a flight of the narrowest steepest steps you can imagine with a built in height hazard halfway to the bedroom which had the largest TV left in western Europe.. If this was the last hotel room left in Dusseldorf then it might be worth considering but other than that give it a miss

The girl who checked us in initially was ok but the guy on duty at the weekend had that typical attitude that Germans seem to think is businesslike but only comes across as condescending, charmless and unhelpful.. They must be specially trained somewhere as Germans in general don't behave like this.

and the area around it is seriously dodgy and not suitable for lone females

Room Tip: It had wifi but you had to run round the room to find it... Then it chugged away forever.. Actually only used it to look for another hotel online..

Nicely appointed self contained apartments have a small kitchen complete with dishes and cutlery. Clean comfortable rooms. It does not have an iron & board. Free internet in the room worked well. Bathrooms are very small and somewhat difficult to move around. Building is about 3 blocks away from another Burns Hotel where you need to check in. It is also in a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of shops, bars & restaurants within easy walking distance. Main train station is 10 minutes walk just down the street. Although I have no complaints, I will book back into the Burns Art & Culture building on Stephanienstrasse for my next trip
