We've had dinner at Deichgraf twice so far, once in 2015 and then again two weeks ago in May 2018. It was rather lovely to see that nothing has changed for worse! The traditional northern German dishes were as good and tasty as the last time, our waitress made us feel very welcome and at home and her service was attentive. Our cosy corner table provided the right atmosphere for a relaxing evening after a day's sightseeing.

My husband and I chose traditonal fish dishes (plaice and pickled hering), both dishes were well prepared and very tasty,

We'll come back, that's for sure. Thanks very much for a very pleasurable evening!

We went for a lunch on Saturday afternoon. There were two options of a day meal and also a la carte menu. We took fish of the day for ~16€ and it was delicious. I would like to thank the waitress and a short dark hair lady who seemed to be owner or a long time employee. Not only the food but also a pleasant service made our visit to this restaurant a great memory from Hamburg!

I had the Matjesfilet with green beans, boiled potatoes and bacon, which was delicious. Indeed, for the price, it rates as one of the best meals I've ever had. Moreover, the service was excellent. I was tempted to go back the next day and have the same meal, but I thought that might seems a bit weird. The wine was of a high standard too.

Marvelous hidden gem in Hamburg. We had a three course meal with:
-Starter: Creamy soup with scallop
-Main: Cod with potato and lemon puree
-Dessert: Rhubarb with chocolate ice cream and various cheeses to share.
Great service. Great flavor. Great atmosphere. Well worth a visit

It was a good thing we made a reservation for an early dinner before going on the St Pauli and Reeperbahn evening walking tour.

We ordered a Labskaus "Hanseatic" to share followed by pan fried plaice and a selection of pan fried fish. The fish was done well and not greasy.

Service was warm and attentive without being intrusive in pleasant surroundings. An enjoyable dining experience.
