We stayed in this Hotel for 1 night in October. With the receptionist/mangaer carrying our bags up to the room , the service was welcoming
However, although we are grateful to owners/investors that the Schloss has been maintained, renovated and restored, certain deficits cannot be overlooked.
There is a wonderful entry hall with fireplace and view to the gardens, but, the beauty of this hall has not been utilized to it's full potntial due to deficits of interior decoration and lighting. An interior designer shoud be employed to make use of the full beaty of the entry hall. This is the heart of the building and it should exhume warmth and cosyness so that after a good meal or during rainy weather one can sit here with a book and relax. This is presently not the case and makes this hotel cold. Whereas , in contrast, the 2 restaurants are warm and well decorated.
The food is good but overpriced. All Schlosses seem to load food prices unreasonably!!!
The Manor grounds which we walked through extensively definitely need landscaping and gardening so that the full beauty of the place can come to light and those rather ugly round light 'bulbs' shoud be changed.
The rooms are clean and having been renovated are acceptable.
Due to the lack of warmth of the hotel, we would not stay a 2nd night!
