Fantastic location, architecturally quirky, clean, spacious and also homely. More personable than a hotel. Convenient to all the major sights and also local restaurants and cafes in the Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg. Would stay again

Booked immaculate and funky Miniloft for three nights and shared an extroverted loft on the second floor with my sister and parents. My sis and I slept on the sofa beds which were stylish yet super easy to set up. We wanted to all be in the same space together to have more quality time with each other, although sharing one bathroom among four of us was not easy!

I loved the buzzy location as most of the places we wanted to eat at were a short walk away. We ended up trying the laid back Lokal, the Michelin starred restaurants Reinstoff and Pauly Saal... Rutz is also super close by though we would have to save that for our next visit.

It was quite warm when we were there so I did have trouble sleeping as with the windows opened constantly, the traffic noise from the street (ie sound of sirens etc. ) was quite brutal. But other than that it was a simple yet cool little place to stay at, just bring ear plugs in the summer time.

A funky apartment complex that is very well located via an easy walk to Berlin HbH, tourist buses, Natural History Museum and all the major Berlin attractions. Minimalist styling, but everything is there for a very comfortable stay. Italian restaurants within walking distance were very, very good and organic supermarket stocked all the essentials. Staff and owners are pleasant, making the booking and check-in process very easy. Would strongly recommend for travelling couples.

Our classic Miniloft apartment was perfect for us. Warm, spacious, clean and private with a functional kitchen and access to a washing machine and dryer. It was a pleasure to come home to after a long day on the tourist trail in Berlin. The owners are very helpful and we recommend staying here if you want more of your own space than a hotel can provide.

If you prefer living like a local to joining mobs of tourists in a hotel, I can't imagine a better selection than the Miniloft. Getting to the apartments from Tegel airport couldn't be easier; grab a TXL bus out the front door of the airport, get off at Invaliden Park, and you're a short walk from the door. Four of us (two adults and two teens) slept comfortably, enjoying the modern loft design and the convenience of a U-stop right around the corner that provides connections throughout the city and beyond. From our Miniloft location, we traveled easily to performances at the Berlin Philharmonie and Deutche Oper Berlin, as well as to a football (soccer) match at Olympiastadion. The Miniloft staff are very helpful if you need assistance, but all interaction is initiated by you, just as if you lived in the apartment. The location is perfect for touring Berlin's historic sites and museums, and for independent-minded travelers this is an excellent choice.

Room Tip: The "extrovert" room's full-glass outer wall is a fun, modern design detail.
