this restaurant, presumably named after a french low-budget movie, has a concept that we have enjoyed many times in italy--namely, that there is no choice: one can order any combination of a starter, main and dessert without needing to resort to a printed menu. unfortunately the italian experience led us badly astray here. the starter was a celeriac soup with a strange aftertaste, the main an unattractive and unpalatable version of shepherd's pie, so we didn't try the dessert. the service was truly terrible. certainly never again.
