My wife booked a surprise weekend trip to Berlin and selected this for accommodation as she thought she was booking a pod through Booking.com. However when we turned up we were led to a very small tent with a double airbed in it. Not over happy with this we accepted but the airbed went flat a few times in the night so very uncomfortable night indeed. The next day we found someone to complain to who moved us to a bigger tent with rigid camping beds and actual room for our luggage etc so this was a marked improvement and would have been great to have that for both nights! However there appeared to be a rave on all night right through to after 5 in the morning so did not get much sleep that night either. Facility wise its just like a campsite with a shower and toilet block, bar and what seems to be constant music. Good if you don't mind not sleeping much. Basic accommodation in a good location for connections to both the airport (Schonfeld) and the city centre via the underground about 500m away.

Room Tip: If you end up in a tent insist on campbeds not airbeds as they are useless.

I booked the hotel for 3 nights Apr 14-17, and it was charged by credit card. When i arrived, i was so disappointed, it was far away from center, its a very small cube room far from bathroom, it smelt so bad that i nearly throw up. Then i asked receptionist if i could stay one night and you could refund 2 nights. they didnt confirm yet then the next day we hangout, until we back in evening, they already kicked out all our stuffs (we lost 2 phone chargers), then we complained and they promised to return the money 2 nights (~85 euros). I said, we wanted cash immediately if they want to let us go and we could find somewhere else, but they didnt want to give money (they even have other guest to take over the room). they also didnt help us to find hotel nearby. They have big mistake and they promised to transfer the money the next day but i never see money in my account. Then i waited for 1 week later and email again, they apologized for being late transfering money. and i continued waiting. until Apr 24, i contacted again via booking.com and directly email to the hotel, both said already transfered money and asked me to wait for 10 days. Until May 15, i checked again and no money in bank yet. im trying to ask many time where is my refund or if they transfered so just send me the receipt to prove it but they ignored all my messages.

Booking.com customer service never helps me, i even called hotline 2 times and explained the situation clearly and they promised to check and help but NEVER! Until now, which means from Apr 15 to May 30, they ignored me and Finally they are cheating 75 euros without refund, im tired of wasting my time to ask for refund anymore. i booked via Booking.com, frankly in case hotel didnt want to pay, they are responsible to compensate for me => you should avoid Easy Lodge Berlin hotel and never use Booking.com. i used to be Genius customer with VIP Account of booking.com, but now i decide to use other booking services. I hope this information is helpful for you. Thank you

Staff was oblivious, the room was hot, and my car got towed.
Upon arrival I asked where I could park and they told me right in front and so I did, without realizing that the following day i would wake up to my car missing. Turns out there was a marathon going on that day. How was I suppose to know? Wouldn't the staff advise me of this once I asked about parking? Obviously not so that was a great surprise to wake up too. The staff was not helpful at all when I went to them for guidance on what to do. (I'm a foreigner so I have no idea what to do) she told me to Google it...... really?!?!
The room was a hot box, no window to ventilate or feel some breeze. It's like a sauna in there. Pictures on the website are false, its alot dirtier and nasty in person. And the location is in a very sketchy neighborhood.

We’ve never seen any staff. We arrived there around 11pm and was hard to find a reception, then hard to find our room. We saw a message saying that the keys were by the bed inside the room, but then we found the keys on the door, outside, and when we entered, the bed wasn’t made, the bedroom stank cigarettes (which we could find bits of it on the floor) and an open pack of peanuts on the table. Totally disgusting and unprepared to receive any customers. We couldn’t stay there for even one night and had to go and pay another hotel to stay! Disappointed and totally upset about that. Would like my money back to be honest. I’d like to rate as zero If I could.
