A breath of fresh air in dining has arrived in Berlin - 'Joynes Kitchen'

A friendly French bistro producing award winning plates of goodness and beauty.

4 starters, 4 Mains 4 Desserts. All read well and list key ingredients.

Priority is placed on seasonal quality produce, presented with finesse and flavour. This is clearly a talented and highly experienced team of chefs complemented by a friendly front-of-house well informed staff member the night we dined (Sunday 10/10/16)

Standout dish/s From the moment the Amuse-Bouche arrived: A crispy pair of potato skins cradling champignons in a delicate sauce, we knew this was going to be a memorable dinner.

For main: I enjoyed the Veal cheek with parsnip, spinach, roasted shallots and madeira. My partner gave 10/10 for the Halibut served with roasted potato gratiné, cauliflower and thyme velouté as perfection on a plate!

For a perfect finish we both ordered: Apple tarte-tartin served with vanilla bean ice- cream and an armagnac syrup, (We want the recipe!!!)

An accompanying wine list has been cleverly crafted to please many including our fussy demands for wines from afar.

A must visit!!

We got this restaurant recommended since the chef used to work at one of our favorite restaurants in the area (Brasserie Lamazere). The location is a little hidden away but SO worth a visit.

The decor is understated and lovely - very Berlin with a beautiful original features. But the real winner is the food - a small menu where every course is finished to perfection.

We ended up ordering more or less everything and one course was better than the next.

This truly is a hidden gem and we will be back for sure.

Thank Minna P
