There is dining outside; however, the weather was gray and rain was clearly coming so we ate inside. The dark paneling was lightened by the large windows and the terra cotta table coverings. This gave a cozy environment for us to have lunch. At the end of lunch there were four "clean plates" as every item was enjoyed from the kid's spaetzel (noodle dish) to the Braustuben-Reindl which is chicken breast, vegetables, spaetzel covered with a mushroom sauce. The other members of the party ate Schnitzel. If you need to choose a side, consider the potato salad that is amazing and made with vinegar and mustard (not mayo like some in the USA...it is just different and worth a try). Please note there are two locations - one in the old city and the other is the location described above located a 15 minute walk from the old city. Fantastic service as well.
