I love Ibis hotels: they're the Motel 6 of Europe: Clean, cheap. All you really need.
My room was what I expected (see above). What makes this Ibis great is the location: just inside the Old Town area, right around the corner from the touristy "Old Town" walled enclosure. There is also a Dunkin' Donuts right next door.
One caveat: some of the rooms are on split-floors, so you have to walk up or down a half-flight of stairs (for those with mobility issues), so be sure to let them know if this is an issue.
Also, beware the top-floor-room: again, for those with mobility issues (or huge, heavy, unwieldy suitcases like us!), the top-floor room is reached by a narrow, metal, spiral staircase that is a full-floor's climb up. The room is basically an attic: canted ceilings that force you to bend to get around. On the other hand, great view and quiet isolation. Some will love it, ask for it specifically-- and others will balk at the staircase.
