This is a small family run hotel of a high standard in a quiet setting but within a ten minute walk of the main street. The room had everything you could reasonably expect from a three star hotel including a very comfortable bed, although there is no air conditioning. The large bottle of mineral water was most welcome. Everything was very clean and bright and the English speaking staff were all helpful. There was an excellent breakfast and the hotel has plenty of parking.

Beautiful hotel with quaint feel. The staff made us feel as though we were guests in their home. They took care of all of our needs despite a small language barrier. Parking was easy, breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

This review is written in retrospect as it is over a year since we visited Bad Reichenhall but we had a great time at this hotel. We had an apartment with a little balcony from which you could see mountains on 3 sides (just!) We had a little kitchenette so could enjoy food and drink that we had bought (sitting out on the balcony of course) as well as having breakfast provided in the hotel, so best of both worlds. Great service, lovely continental breakfast with freshly cooked eggs too. Gentle saunter into the town and to the railway station. It is situated on a quiet side street so not too much traffic noise. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Private parking too.

A big thank you for finding my Hearing Aid in our bedroom in Hotel Almrausch. (I'm slightly embarrassed to admit ownership of one!!) When I missed the H.A. at the Railway station I immediately phoned yourselves. It was really a long-shot that you would find it & I was so thrilled when you did!
Thank you also for posting it back to Ireland- along with the photo of Tom on the Salt-mine slide!!
We had a lovely time in your hotel & would heartily recommend it to all your future clients.
Kind regards
Mary McArdle, Ireland

We booked a "bargain" hotel in Bad Reichenhall as we were going only one night. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and good location, about 3 blocks to center of old town. The staff was nice, and recommended a very local beer garden for dinner that we would not have found on our own. For a moderate hotel, there were surprising touches like a small balcony, nespresso maker in the room, and spacious bath. Parking was tight but available. Breakfast was excellent. All in, a very good choice.
