We found this place based on a blog recommendation, and I'm so glad we did! It's in a neighborhood north of Heidelberg (about 20 minutes by tram and a short walk). It was definitely a place tourists would NOT stumble upon. We sat outside in the garden that had a canopy of grapevines. With sat with some locals who were very friendly. Our server, Niels, spoke English and was just wonderful! Very accommodating and patient. I order the Rahmgeschnetzeltes. It was a veal dish in a cream mushroom sauce, served with spatzle (egg noodles), carrots, and salad. Delicious and the price was good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
