Our hotel recommended & booked the Rossini for us.
We were really pleased with it when we first arrived. It is attractive.
Unfortunately it was a very warm evening & the Rossini is not air conditioned & so the first problem was that most people did not want to sit inside.
We along with 2 other couples (both German I think) hovered by the front door of the restaurant as they tried to work out where they could find 3 outside tables.
A harassed woman staff member was doing her best to seat people but something clearly went wrong & she & an older male waiter had a very heated dispute that continued for sometime. it was not the best way to start the meal.
We were seated outside. A young male waiter was charming - the older guy grudging at best.
The outside seats were v comfortable the food was good. The wine by the glass excellent. The coffee was not what we'd ordered but ok. It wasn't worth arguing.
When the bill arrived we at least got a laugh - the older male waiter who had spoke zero english with us all evening & been less than helpful said very clearly leave a tip here.
