I typically do not pursue Michelin restaurants, however since I'm from New York, I'm sure I've eaten at many of them.
I traveled with foodie friends on a ski trip to Courcheval. They have frequented this restaurant for several years. Since we were in a new chalet near Le Farcon, they contacted the chef, owner, to set up a meal a day, with each meal a surprise collection of courses. He complied with outstanding meals.
I never had what I would consider a normal dish there that I had had before.
The combinations of ingredients were things that I would never dream would fit together, yet alone taste so good.
All of the dishes ranged from very good to superb.
