We were two couples who go skiing/snowboarding the same time each year. This was our first Club Med trip and our first time to Chamonix. We had the best trip we've ever had, Gilles and his team took care of our every need, the ski lessons, food and entertainment were amazing, all we had to do was think about skiing, everything else was taken care of and we will be doing it again next year.
We had such a great time we've just book to go on a Club Med summer holiday.
A BIG thanks to Gilles and his team for making out holiday a trip to remember.

Location is great, the hotel needs some renovation, especially furnitures in the halls. there is no single comfortable couch or chair where you can take a rest. Nevertheless the staff ( from housekeeping to hotel chef) is so lovely, engaged, committed, they make u feel like home. Ski school was perfect, especially my teacher Andy, highly recommended.

When I first arrived on the first day of opening, I was pretty close-minded about this place. I had been to other winter season Club Meds, which I loved and knew loads about. Chamonix Mont Blanc would not be your first choice.

From a skiing point of view, the slopes are not huge at all, almost claustrophobic. They are hard and for a skier who has been used to miles and miles of pure high speed freedom, I was definitely not used to it. Although there was not a lot of snow, the off-piste was huge. perhaps more than I would have liked.
If you like the idea of riding up well above 3000 meters, where time has literally unaffected its surroundings, then this place is the diamond.
If you like a picture with your friends next to a secular glacier, there are plenty to look out for.
If you like to tell people that you have been 3842m high and saw the Mont Blanc so close you could almost throw a snowball at it and not miss it, Chamonix offers that too.

But aside from the skiing, aside from the lovely little town where so many unite for a mulled wine of a cold pint of mountain lager, aside from the many attractions and ways to make your holiday unforgettable, the people and friends I have made here are truly what made the holiday. They are the holiday.

From the Chief of the Village Gilles (who somehow remembers every single customer in the Village, how I don't know), to the reception people (Aurelia The Smile, Claire The British, Anastasia The Greek, Camille The Blonde, Karim The Lad - whatever little petty problems I had, they always managed to solve) to the housekeeping staff (Berenice The Curly - running always and never looking back), and the boutique people (Romain and Angelique The Selling Duo - who managed one of the highest boutiques in the mountains).
From the animation staff (Anna The Dancer, Juju The Jukebox - always ready to roll) to the photographers (Davide The Pizza and Rudy The Pasta - just placed a smile with their quirky Italian-ness).
From the restaurant staff to the biggest and liveliest Team De Le Bar - Curtis The Northerner, Ahmed The Great and Kseniia The Ruski-Fatale (who there is not much to say about because some memories can only be lived).

Thank you to each and everyone of you guys for having made this holiday possibly the best to the point where I cannot wait to meet every single one of you both in Club Med or in a rainy and cloudy London or even on another holiday altogether.
You guys made and were the holiday for me. For that I thank you for both smiling through the hardest day of work and keeping me smiling through the busiest New Years Party ever.

Final words to conclude. To those that come here not expecting what to find, be open minded, smile, you are on holiday and all the people mentioned above will make sure of that. Just remember that it's the GO Team that makes Club Med, not the infrastructure and definitely not the unlimited alcohol or food (although that was really really nice about Club Med as well). Thank you all?!

Room Tip: Early booking is the smartest way to ensure a lovely view of both Chamonix and the surrounding panoramas.

You feel great right from the start with the Chief of Village Gilles and the Go Team at the door to greet you to make you feel most welcome and have a great holiday.
The valley view balcony rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable and they come with heated racks in the bathroom. The food provided by the restaurant are sumptuous with a lot of variety and the menu is different everyday so you will not get bored. I am so glad they provide rice too and I love their desert most.
The ski instructors and equipment are good, my children really enjoyed skiing despite the lack of snow during our stay. The ski pass provided by Club Med are very useful as you can go to a lot of attraction in Chamonix without having to queue for payment.
Thank you Chief of Village Gilles and the Go Team for giving us such a wonderful holiday.

This is our second short break as a family at Chamonix Club Med. The location of the club is fantastic; ski in and out when there is snow (bear in mind it is at a very low altitude and this is not always possible) and for those not skiing it is a 2 min walk to the high street. Our family club room was a very good size, clean & also had an excellent view of Mont Blanc. The outdoor heated pool with its amazing views was a big plus for us as a family at the end of the day. However, we were disappointed that the hamman and one of the saunas never worked during our stay. The restaurant was excellent, good service prodvided and an excellent choice / quality of food available. The bar and theatre still looked the same as they did 8 years ago; dark and dingy and in need of a refurbishment. Would we go back, probably yes, as it is reasonably priced and you can't match those excellent views of Mont Blanc.
