I was born here, and hadn’t tried this restaurant yet in Aix les Bains.
Very reasonably priced, with a very good welcome and atmosphere.
We enjoyed starters of duck salad and reblochon pastry (local cheese), mains of locally caught fish and steak, and desserts of café gourmand and vacherin. All 3 courses plus wine pichet for less than €80.
I would have given four stars to this restaurant, if it wasn’t for the service which felt a bit “rushed”. Broken plates in the kitchen, dishes on our table taken before we were finished, altogether not a very relaxing time for the guests. But this may be the French way that I was used to when I lived here many years ago. Besides from this, a very good experience.
