The castle is very interesting outside. There is a military museum inside, but if you do not want to go in, you can climb on the terrace, which opens a wonderful panorama of the city.

Very extensive collection of french weapons and uniforms from the 15th century the end of of WWI, with specific emphasis on the french Empires. Does become a little repetitive in the long run. Be aware that all is in French and the experience would benefit from translation of descriptions of the exhibits into English.

This museum has a very impressive collection of old fire arms and uniforms, particularly around Napoleon. You do not get to appreciate much of the chateau though which is a pity. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely place to visit for a few hours. There are many displays with lots of armoury. I liked the garden as there are fabulous views across the town.

A very complete collection of uniforms, weapons such as rifles, swords nicely illustrated with maps and other original documents. A must see!
