A lovely place... great rooms, so clean, great character but a few things didn't sit well with me.
The hotel is an extension of the families home- so when you are sat by the pool - the kids were running around shouting / screaming and it was the opposite of a relaxing day!!!!
I felt like I was imposing on their space rather than the reality that I'd spent a lot of money for a relaxing holiday at their hotel.
Another thing is the breakfast- which I learnt to love, but I thought it should be included in the price of the stay. As its self service ... down to squeezing your own orange juice. All cold - it seems excessive to pay €12 each for that a day.
There are specific rules that weren't told to us - so when I tried to order lunch at 2pm - when apparently last orders is 1.30pm - I had a bit of a telling off . The receptionist makes the food so I understand why they have these rules in place.
There is no bar/ dinner at night but a few lovely restaurants around but you have to have a car.
I did really enjoy this hotel but think people need to know this is a small hotel with a certain ways of running.
I would stay again as it is very charming.
Thank you.
