We went with another couple to this lovely little restaurant across the street from Orange's Antique Theatre and loved the food. The couple who run the restaurant (waitress & chef) did an excellent job and the food was superb. It was busy when we were there but our meals were served in a timely and efficient manner. It was a great dining experience.

The opening tomato mousseline was a good indicator of the presentation and taste to come in each of the wonderful courses. In season food, served with flair and artistry describe a Sunday evening meal across the street from a Roman theater dating from the time of August Caesar (Luke 2). The three-course menus were a good value with the menu items also being offered à la carte. Without a reservation, we were fortunate to be given a table with a good view of the Roman temple grounds.

We had the 28e set menu and were served 3 delicious and well prepared dishes.
A good wine list accompanied by efficient service made this a pleasurable evening.

Food, excellent. Servic, excellent. Mood, excellent. That pretty much sums it up. Perfect start to our trip here in Provence amongst the many winerys.

The quality was less than expected. The overall impression was that the dishes regarding taste were all variations on the same theme. We tried different dishes to see what the chef would come up with and concluded that lots of little splashes of sauces did not improve the culinary experience. It lacked freshness and creativity. The recommended wine was nice, The desserts absolutely boring.
