This hotel is well located, with the station and beach being ten minutes from the hotel in different directions, and shopping on the doorstep. We always prefer hotels with lifts, which formed part of the reason for selecting this hotel, so were disappointed to find that the entry from the street to reception and the lift is up five steps. We had booked two Junior Suites for four people (rooms 509 and 510) and found them to be a good size, each with a balcony. The décor is somewhat eclectic and the furniture mismatched to some extent. The rooms included a fridge and a safe, as well as an updated bathroom. We did not notice any noise, as the hotel is in a small street off the main shopping street. Breakfast was comprehensive and included great coffee. Service was friendly and helpful. The hotel is environmentally conscious and requests that rubbish be sorted and placed in the appropriate bins. Unfortunately, the room lighting was dim at best, probably due to the choice of LED lighting that had been used. There was a small gift of honey in each room, which was a nice touch. Apparently, the honey comes from bee hives on the roof of the hotel. Taxis are unable to park directly in front of the hotel and have to let you off or pick you up from a nearby corner. This may be a drawback for people who have heavy luggage, small children etc, as well as for guests waiting for a taxi. Best to check that corner regularly! The bistro next door is a bonus and serves good food, although the service itself can be slow. As we prefer to stay in independent hotels when we can, we will certainly consider staying at this hotel again in the future, should we return to Nice.

Upon arrival at the hotel after 2pm my double room wasn't ready so they suggested I stay in a twin room which was ready. Since I was only staying one night it wasn't an issue. The room was cozy and modern and the best part - air conditioning!
Located right in the center of town off Avenue Jean Medicin with parking facilities less than 5mins walk away.
Would stay here again.

Hard floors and thin walls transmit noise easily
Noisy guests who pay no regard to others and are not encouraged to make allowances for the shortcomings of the hotel's construction made our stay miserable.
We were woken before 6 in the morning and the noise continued for 3 hours.

Dear Madam, dear Sir,

We thank you for having chosen our hotel for your stay and thanks for your review on TripAdvisor.

Fisrt of all, accept apologies for your stay with us.

It is true that all customers do not always respect the other guests. If a customer complains of another, we always do our best to stop the nuisance.

For perfect hygiene, we opted for wooden flooring rather than carpet. This flooring is plastic just to avoid the noise.
Did you report to reception noisy customers ?

Never hesitate to contact the reception is very important.

Our team is here 24hour/24 for guests.
Service is important for us and all the staff works hard for that.

We hope to welcome you again in Nice French Riviera and thank you again for your review.

Best Regards

Christine and Nicolas PATAT

This is a really lovely hotel. The staff are really friendly and couldn't be more help. Good decoration throughout. We had the continental breakfast - good choice every day. We booked the Junior Suite. This is definitely worth the extra money as it has a furnished terrace. Perfect to relax on after a few hours sightseeing!
I'd highly recommend this hotel and we'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Nice!

Week end in Nice sun, seaside and swin. The hotel is in a good position to visit the centre and Magazine Lafayette. Our room 511 is small but lovely. Only one trouble is nearest to the lift and and race is toro noisy.
