We had an amazing time staying at this wonderful Longerie. Such a beautiful house, decorated and arranged so well. Nothing left to chance, everything you could possibly need, from a pizza wheel to a beautiful garden with smashing summer house for little ones. Great exploration and hide and seek games. Set in an easy to get to places, the village of Sourdeval is so pretty, supermarket, fuel, pharmacy, free parking. Suits all ages. Look out for the fab bath in the mezzanine bedroom. Only one moan, we wanted to stay longer
We have just returned from a week in La Ravillion and it was fantastic.
The property was beautiful and in a stunning location. All necessary items were provided from bed linen and towels to calpol!
There's a lovely garden which my 2 year old twins throughly enjoyed.
The location was fantastic- close to Caen and close enough for day trips to Bayeaux, the zoo and beaches.
We will be returning next year!
I thought it about time to put pen to paper and tell others of this charming place to stay, I have now stayed at LeRavillion on 6 different occasions and simply can't fault it from the wonderful kitchen to the lovely wood burner and even part of a Willys Jeep you must give it a try, looking forward to my 7th visit !

My wife and I had a quick getaway to Le Ravillon last spring on the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad to see that we're now able to write a review. The service from the owners, quality of the accommodation (on all fronts but particularly the attention to detail on the decoration and warm cosy feel) and location were all first class. We do not have children but it is clear that if you want to get away from it all and have younglings, this is the sort of idyllic destination to take them. It is obvious that you could, to a certain extent, leave the little ones to their own devices exploring the fantastic grounds. It is clear the owners have thought carefully about how to make everything as child friendly as possible and it is obvious Mr Patchett has a boyish imagination with a whole host of areas to explore, particularly by the stream.
On the other hand, if you're a busy young couple who want to snuggle up in front of a wood burning stove miles away from the crash bang whallop of city life, this is also the place for you. Perfect for both winter and summer breaks.
I could not recommend Le Ravillon highly enough.
