gorgeous beach for the family. Safe swimming for kids, clean sand for toddlers, drinks and toilets nearby.

Gets the sun in the morning and late evening, this is a lovely place to swim or just paddle about. Volley ball pitch for locals adds an evening entertainment to this unspoilt paradise.

We found this beach a lovely sandy unspoilt area with very calm waters protected from the usual breeze. The water stays shallow a long way out and is ideal for children. We visited in September and there is no lifeguard on duty, parking charges at €1 per hour until end September just behind the pavement shaded by trees. Was fairly busy for a weekday in September so you may struggle for space at the weekend/high season.
Kiosk Poseidon at the end near the sailing school serves good snacks to take away or a few patio tables to sit at. Sandwiches, Paninis, burgers, chips, ice cream and waffles with huge selection of drinks including wine and beer.
Showers on the beach and toilets at the sailing school. Great view of the ramparts of Antibes as you look across the water.

We spent a couple of days on this beach in late August 2016 as part of our visit to the south of France.
The beach is very clean and well maintained. The water quality was excellent, very clean and clear and is watched over by a team of lifeguards.
This beach got very crowded so it's worth arriving early to get a good spot.
The beach bar that services this beach was more expensive than those on the next beach down, Plage de la Salis, so take a walk of 50 meters and save yourself a few Euros.
Also worth noting is that parking is free at weekends in the parking bays that are located along the roadside but these fill up very quickly. We nearly paid the fee when we didn't have to.
One of our children did get stung by a jellyfish whilst we were here but the lifeguards were very helpful and provided him with the cream to take away the pain.
