Rooms and restaurants/coffee bar were good but I thought that the carpets on the second floor were tired and in need of a clean to spruce them up.
Breakfasts had plenty of choice but a toaster would have been handy for my English taste!
Your reception staff were very helpful and a credit to your company. There was a little confusion at check out time insofar as my e mail booking receipt indicated that I had prepaid breakfast and I needed to check my bank account to verify that it hadn't actually been prepaid. Perhaps clarity on the booking e mail might help as i understand from your staff that this happens regularly and it would make their lives easier.
We like the Accor group hotels and would certainly recommend them to friends.

Hotel management made an error with room allocation however this was corrected promptly. The parking was a little confusing, as I was unable to find the hotel for 20 minutes after parking the car. The "minute parking" was free for the purpose of off-loading baggage and checking in but was extremely narrow making it impossible to get out of the car. The room was large, quiet and dark. The bathroom was functional. The shower head needed maintenance (several jets blocked) and the glass shower screen was too small, leading to a wet bathroon floor. As usual the hairdrier was wrongly located and the lighting was inadequate to allow my wife to do her hair and make-up.

However the beds were comfortable and the buffet breakfast was adequate.

When you've found this hotel, difficult enough tucked away on the Rue Ferruce you're greeted with a light and airy reception, a very uninspiring plastic dominated bar and competent desk staff.
The rooms are tired, pokey and expensive for what they are. Both walls and ceilings were stained, the aircon was next to useless and the shower in the bath was guaranteed to soak the floor. The bed, TV and breakfast were fine.

My wife and I stayed at the Mercure Pont d'Avignon last month on our holiday in Provence. I loved the location, but thought that the rooms left a lot to be desired. Even though I read some reviews on TA beforehand, we figured we would role the dice on this one and regret the decision. The hotel has a very modern lobby and he front desk staff is beyond courteous, but things change once you hop on the elevator and head to your room. Even the hallways on the upper floors are not very nice (I think ours was hot pink or orange, definitely not appealing). The room was rundown and the bed not comfortable. TV surprisingly was up-to-date. For the price we paid, I would have expected something a little nicer.

If you end up staying here, be sure and keep an eye out for the one tiny sign along the main road that circles Avignon. We missed the turn (which gets you to the parking garage underneath the hotel) and took the next one thinking we could just back track to the hotel. This is impossible and we spent the next hour lost, driving through tiny narrow streets. Much safer to just go back out to the main road and circle back to the parking garage!

Again, the front desk staff were extremely nice and helped us with some restaurant suggestions. (Ended up at Heily Lucullus, which was not very good, but not faulting hotel staff on this as we flipped a coin based on our guide book). If the hotel put some investment into fixing up the guest rooms, I would definitely go back. But until then, I'd recommend looking for an alternative!

this is a fine 3star hotel, the location is superb, a minute stroll to Place d'Horloge and all the restaurants off the main drag. Stayed for 2 nights and it works...good value, location and very effecient staff at reception.
