A really lovely hotel. I was impressed by the antiques. I had asked for a ground floor room because of my husband's knee issue. They not only accommodated us, they checked us in early. The room was very nice and the bathroom and shower room were quite attractive. I think the bed was bigger than our king at home. It also was conveniently located - we easily walked to sites and to restaurants.

We loved the hotel, especially the two hosts and the room service. We booked a small suite and it was lovely. Yes, no elevator or parking close by but the hospitality made up for all our frustrations trying to find this place. BEWARE--We drove around for at least 45 minutes and would still be driving if not for a completely understanding local lady who actually walked us to the hotel. Our new friend said she thought was impossible, and she lives in Arles! It's the only reason our rating is not 5 stars.

This hotel is a gem in the oldest part of the city. The narrow streets make it difficult to approach by car. Fortunately the hotel has arranged for parking at a not too far off parking garage. The hotel is a beautifully decorated medieval building. Our room was quite small but serviceable. Breakfasts were excellent and the short walk to the various Roman ruins and some great restaurants (suggested by the staff) made the stay wonderful. We went to Nimes one day and the Roman Aqueduct which are within a 20 mile drive. Although Nimes was fine I was happy that we chose to stay in Arles.

Such a good find. From the greeting to our departure, the hosts were helpful, courteous and informative - which was a great introduction to our time in Provence. Returning to the hotel after days of exploration (and eating) was met by soft classical music playing in the background - definitely a nice touch. Comfy bed, warm/hot shower and no car or traffic noise was really good. We had breakfast there too a number of times which for us proved a good start to our days. Thanks.

Great ambience with soft classical music in the foyer, perfect breakfast with excellent bread and patisserie and coffee. The hotel is very old with beautiful decor. Our room is simple but very quiet, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent but no parking nearby so must walk with suitcases about 5 minutes.
