We loved the location, which made it easy to get in and out of the city each day. The parking garage was well worth reserving, and the staff worked miracles in getting cars in and out of very tight space. We loved the view from the balcony of our third floor room - the rooflines of the city were charming. We were close to stores and cafes, yet out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were universally warm, welcoming and helpful. The design in spare and modern, but everything is of high quality. We also enjoyed wine and cheese on the rooftop. The bed was comfortable, the sliding doors effectively blocked street noise. The breakfast buffet was good, especially the pates, and the coffee was drinkable. We extended our stay to seven nights because we felt so at home.

This hotel has just been freshly renovated and the bathrooms and rooms are fresh, clean and well presented. The hotel does look a bit basic from the outside, but you'll be pleasantly surprised inside. WiFi is an issue the further away you go from the main reception though. The added bonus of free onsite parking is a big plus though.

From the moment we arrived we knew this had been a good choice. The girls on reception were attentive, helpful and efficient. One helped me park my car in the garage and offered directions to an excellent place for dinner. The bedroom was simply furnished but with everything one might need for a short stay in this delightful city. We loved the strength and warmth of the shower. The place is compact but after having the night porter being willing to exit our car safely from the garage onto the street for us, we left with a warm glow of appreciation for this 2 star hotel. I have stayed in a less welcoming 4 star. I commend enthusiastically this gem.

We wanted just a decent place for a one night stay en route to the Cote Azur.
From the moment Julie came out in the street to point out the way to the overnight (public) parking we realized we were getting more than we bargained (and paid) for.
Room not too big but sufficient, looking out on the street that is lively but not noisy.
Comfy bed, bathroom cute and leaves nothing to wish for.
The whole place spotlessly clean. Personnel and management very friendly.
Breakfast downstairs just fine and if you want you can take it up to the charming little roof terrace.
The liveliest spot in Aix (apart from the Mirabeau) 5 minutes walk cross the street and
if you take a right through the alleys with their boutiques and restaurants you'll
hit the Mirabeau in less than 15 minutes if you won't do too much windowshopping.
Sure..it's not a 4 star but given the price this place deserves an EXCELLENT big time.

The hotel was great, in downtown Aix close to the old city and Cours Mirabeau.
Rooms were clean and the breakfast was abundant with a lot of choices: cereals, yogurts, soft boiled eggs, croissants, bread, cheese, ham and saucisson, coffee and juices all of it for 10 euros!

The staff was ready to help and courteous, The only downsize was the parking, but we did found a free one 20 Minutes away.
