The hotel is everything you'd imagine a French hotel to be. It's quaint, charming, cleaned and operated by staff of impeccable manners. The rooms are clean. The hotel is located close to the shopping city center and makes for a easy commute about town. It was a joy to stay here.

We would (and will!) happily return to this charming hotel. A beautifully, and very knowledgeably, furnished 18th century house whose individual rooms are a delight. Our double room was spacious and comfortable, completely silent at night (aaah!!), sunny in the day. Reading some of the other reviews, I do not recognise the hotel at all. It's owner, who works at the nearby Granet museum, has restored the original handpainted wall decoration in the hallways and hung her father's original oil paintings in the rooms and common areas, along with original antique prints, etc. For anyone with an appreciative eye, the hotel is exceptional. In addition, the beds are comfortable, it is clean, the continental breakfast is good value, it is quiet, and our experience of the staff and the owner is that they were helpful and charming.

This hotel offers a perfect location with great facilities. Room 30 was a suite: large bedroom, squeaky clean bathroom and a kitchen dining room. Al rooms had big windows, including the bathroom. The dining room looks over the beautiful square and has lots of morning sunshine. The bedroom looks over a leafy back courtyard which is so peaceful. Staff are charming.

thought this one was really nice for a change. We were travelling for a month and this room had some real old turn of the century charm. Service was good and friendly. Located on a very quiet street near the church, yet a two minute walk to the busy restaurant area and easily accessible to strolling the rest of the city.

Spartan hotel well-located in the quartier Mazarin. Our room, on the ground floor in annex facing the street, could have been noisy but wasn't. The bathroom was a strange little cave. The price was moderate--though not really a bargain. Breakfast was unexceptional but cheap.
